Men's Book Study
The men will start meeting on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month for a book study. This will begin on 10/26 and the first meeting will kick off with a breakfast. Each meeting will start at 7am and meet for an hour. The book they will be reviewing is "WHAT EVERY MAN WISHES HIS FATHER HAD TOLD HIM" by Byron Forrest Yawn. Each man attending is to purchase his own book if he chooses. Christmas Shoebox Time
Get your boxes from the back table. Fill them with toys, school supplies, toothbrushes, soap and washcloth, etc and return them by October 27th. Please make your check out to “Samaritan’s Purse” for the shipping. It’s   also great to include a picture of your family and maybe a note, “Jesus love you and we do too”. The kids enjoy seeing something from other kids! Any   questions please call Linda Shaffer at 561-3400.

Fall Festival-Nov 2
Fall Festival will be November 2, 12 noon until 4pm at GHBC. Announcing the Fall Festival sign up for a chili cook off (sign up requires a min of 4 qts), pie baking competition sign up, cake walk donations, hot dogs, games, popcorn, crafts, cotton candy, donations needed: dum dum lollipops, candy (no chocolate), gummy type candy preferred, stickers, carnival type toys (bracelets, bouncy balls, small stuffed animals, items found in a pinata or grab bag). Fellowship! Sign up sheets in upstairs foyer.

Ladies Ministry Events
October 19th
- Women's Awareness Self-Defense Class, instructor: Allen Chambers, 10am-11am at GHBC, childcare will be provided
November 15 - Ladies Autumn Celebration with Fun Craft & Warm Chili Dinner, at GHBC 6:30pm-8:30am, no childcare
December 6 - Ladies Christmas Movie Night & Wear Your Favorite Christmas Sweater, at GHBC 6:30pm-9:30pm, snacks provided but no childcare

Medical Respite for the Homeless
Teams being formed and volunteers needed to plan, prepare, serve and enjoy a great meal with the residents at The Daily Planet’s Medical Respite for the Homeless the 4th Saturday of each month from 11:30-1:30.
