What now?
“He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay.” Matthew 28:6
We gathered last week and celebrated the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. This building was full of people who gathered to worship together. But now Easter Sunday is over and what do we do now? As Christians we gather every Sunday to worship the risen Savior. Easter has passed and now we move on to live lives that are holy and pleasing to God. The Elders of Grace Harvest desire to see this body grow and mature in Jesus Christ. From the beginning of Grace Harvest we have empathized that GHBC is an outpost and not a fortress. Our mission is to Go-Gather-Grow-Go. As believers we need to be going out and sharing the love of Christ to a lost and dying world. Many of you invited friends, family, and acquaintances to church last week, we need to keep that up. As folks hear the Gospel and God calls them to salvation we need to gather them into the fellowship of GHBC. But it does not stop there, we all need to grow in our faith and understanding of His word. Once we have done this we go and repeat, sharing the Good news to others. Build the Body has begun. Our emphasis is on serving one another and bringing glory to God. Please make sure that you pick up and information sheet on BtB. Get involved on the ground floor as we develop and put into place Build the Body. Your input and participation are necessary for this to be a success.
