Local Outreach

"Go, Gather, Grow, and Go"

Local Outreach is part of our "Go" ministry here at GHBC.  Through our this ministry, we share our love for Jesus by serving and following the Great Commission to spread the power of the Gospel message.  As we pour into others what the Lord has poured into us by His Holy Spirit, we bring glory to our Father in Heaven.  And, as His disciples, we help lead the lost into a relationship with Jesus Christ, grow together in our Christian faith, and participate in the life of the church.

If you would like more information please email Victoria Pitrelli at .

Currently, we serve in these areas:

The Daily Planet’s Medical Respite for the Homeless – second Saturday of each month. This is a Ministry of Service and Evangelism.   A home-cooked meal, short sermon, Bibles, reading glasses, prayer and fellowship are offered to the residents.  We bring love, kindness, encouragement, hope, comfort and the truth of God’s word to those who are physically ill and in difficult circumstances.

Amelia Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center – second Sunday of each month. This is a Ministry of Service.   Worship music, a short sermon, prayer and snacks are offered to the residents and their families.  We bring love, kindness, joy, hope and the comfort of worship songs and God’s word to the elderly who are often lonely and isolated.

Other:  Blankets, food and warm clothing may be distributed during the year through various ministries to those in need.

Amelia Day - Every year we have a booth at the Amelia Day festival where we advertise all of our upcoming events.
