God’s Laborers

For I am the least of the apostles, and not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. 1 Corinthians 15:9

When God called you to be His laborers, He called you  for a purpose. Can you imagine what was going through the mind of Saul when God called him on the road to  Damascus? He was a Pharisee, a son of Pharisees. He   was zealous in his persecution of Christians before he  got saved. Yet God used him to author more letters in the New Testament than anyone else. The following is     a list of his epistles in chronological order and the  approximate year they were written;

1 Thessalonians 52 AD, 2 Thessalonians 53 AD,  Galatians 54 AD,1 Corinthians 57AD, 2 Corinthians 58 AD,                    Romans 58 AD, Ephesians 62 AD, Philippines 62 AD, Colossians 62 AD,  Philemon 63 AD, 1 Timothy 64 AD,                        Titus 64 AD, 2 Timothy 67 AD.

Paul could never have imagined that our Lord would have used him the way he did. From a man who was a chief prosecutor of Christians to one who would himself be persecuted for the sake of Jesus Christ. Christian, you are no less important to the cause of Christ. The One who saved you before the foundation of the World knitted you in your mother’s womb and has prepared good works for you to do. Every Christian has a role to play while we live on this earth. No matter how young or old you were when you came to Christ, we are called to be His ambassadors and laborers while we have breath in our lungs.

Your shepherd,

Pastor Mark
