The Beginning And The End!

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” Genesis 1:1                                                                     “The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. Amen.”             Revelation 22:21

The above is the first and last verses of God’s Word to His people. It has been said that young believers love to read Genesis because it tells us all about Creation, and older believers love to study Revelation to see what’s coming.

In between those two books, there are 64 more books. Every one of them is the inspired Word of God. Not one of these 66 books is more important than any other.     The Bible teaches us everything we need to know about living a life committed to Him. God has given us His Word so that we may know Him. His Word brings hope   to all that have trusted in His Son for salvation.

As we have begun our series on the End Times, there is always the concern that we can be too focused on what’s to come. God lets us know what’s coming so we will not be afraid or lose hope when everything around us is     falling apart. We are not to isolate ourselves or find some isolated place off the grid to keep out the World. The    exact opposite is true. God has called you and has sent you out into the World as lambs in the midst of wolves (Luke 10:3). We are called to share the Gospel and to teach all of what God has taught us.

Christian, what say you? Are you living each day for Christ? Are you praying for His return, yet at the same time, living each day to share Christ and live for His glory?
